add the ability to disable ❌ reacts by system (with some reminder in the setting of pk;msg delete's existence), ability to enable confirmation ephemeral message for deletion would be cool too but sounds more complicated

(if not a toggle to outright disable the ❌, then add a confirmation step)

use case: fingers are hard to use and reactions are hard to correctly click on and hence messages are easy to mistakenly delete as there is no confirmation
