Currently, you can escape pk;ap latch for one message by prepending \ to the start of the message. As this only works for one message, many members have created ‘latch-breaking’ members that have AP off in order to break the latch chain.

This suggestion asks for a way to do this natively, possibly as a pk;config setting. Such as enabling a setting that causes \ to break the latch until you proxy again, or a new identifier like \\ signifying a broken latch.
