Allow a discord account to have multiple PK systems linked to it
Use-case: Sharing a “shared system” for group RP & easy sharing of members, while also having a separate “personal system” for plurality/personal/non-group RP use
Reasons for rejection:
- Many conflicting ways this can be implemented with how linked the systems are. For example: Are front logs joint or separate? Should you be able to set which “system” is fronting? How does pk;ap front work with multiple systems, do you also have to choose which system’s front it uses? Can you have full edit perms on one system while the other is “active”? Would one be chosen to be “active” or would you always need to target which system you want for system commands?
- It’s effectively a semantics issue to do this instead of using groups. Groups were intended to be the sub/sisasystem feature. We cannot change the word system in pk;system to be something else (like account) because people are too used to it, but effectively a pk;system really is your pk account and groups are meant to be used for any sort of (sub)categorization.
- It would require a huge amount of work, basically an rework of how all of PK works. Because of the reasons above, there just is not enough gain for the huge amount of time, work, and maintenance that would require, especially considering PK does not have full-time developers and how long the features to-do list is.
